Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This policy covers the FantasySportsMD web app and the FantasySportsMD Draft Co-Pilot browser extension (“FantasySportsMD”, “we”). It explains what data the extension accesses, why, and where it goes. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What the extension does
The Draft Co-Pilot runs on your fantasy football draft pages (Sleeper, and Yahoo/ESPN where supported) and shows live pick recommendations from the FantasySportsMD draft engine. On Sleeper it reads only the public draft (the draft ID in the page URL). It is read-only — you always make your own picks.
Connecting an ESPN account (optional)
If — and only if — you click Connect ESPN, the extension reads your ESPN session cookies (
espn_s2 and SWID) and sends them to the FantasySportsMD backend. These cookies are used solely to authenticate to ESPN’s fantasy API on your behalf so we can import your leagues and rosters. They are not used for any other purpose, are never sold or shared with third parties, and are transmitted over HTTPS. You can disconnect at any time. If you never click connect, no cookies are read. What we collect
- The fantasy draft and league data needed to generate recommendations (e.g. draft ID, your roster, available players).
- ESPN session cookies — only when you choose to connect ESPN, as described above.
- If you create a FantasySportsMD account: your email address and login credentials.
We do not collect browsing history, do not track you across sites, and the extension does not read pages other than the supported fantasy platforms and the FantasySportsMD app itself.
How data is used and stored
Data is used only to provide the recommendations and account features you request. Draft data is processed by the FantasySportsMD backend and not sold or shared with advertisers. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the product.
Permissions, briefly
- storage — remembers your settings (e.g. your draft slot) locally.
- cookies — reads ESPN auth cookies only when you connect ESPN.
- scripting / host access — injects the recommendation panel on supported draft pages.
Your choices
You can remove the extension at any time from your browser’s extensions page, which stops all data access. To delete a FantasySportsMD account and its data, contact us below.
